Capsule review: Dionne Warwick - Just being myself (1973)

Don't know if it's more like herself, or just another genre excercise (Dionne sings X-rated Movie Themes strangely still unreleased), but for her first post-Bacharach album Dionne snares a tremendous early '70s Gamble & Huff-style soul production, courtesy of Holland-Dozier-Holland. As with 1969's Soulful (late '60s American studios soul), this shows she had many strings on her bow. Great songs, great sound, great singing. What more could you want?
