I remember Twitter rumours about a 12 minute cover of this psychedelic Dead classic played at a soudcheck for a radio session (I think). This 5 and a half minute version (though there appears to be a cut at around 4 minutes?) is as close as we're likely to get.

It rises out of a confused jumble of riffs (much like it might appear at a '68/'69 Dead show). The vocals are sadly buried in the mix. Stephen singing them true to the original. And then it mostly resembles a free form Real Emotional Trash-era live jam. Good bass playing, I might add, could it be Joanna's the Jicks' deadhead? After the cut some nice keyboard and feedback atmospherics, with 'I know you rider' backing vocals.
